Self Employed Program

The purpose of the program is to attract candidates from other countries, who are skilled in the cultural, athletic or farming sectors. The candidate must be able to self-employ themselves in the cultural or athletic fields upon their arrival in Canada.

Some of the professions included in the program are- writers, journalists, musicians, directors, photographers, athletes, coaches etc. Overall, this program promotes economic as well as cultural development of the country. In order to qualify, candidates must possess relevant experience in these fields and intend to make a significant contribution to Canada.
